April 13 - The Kauai Ukulele Festival
The Kauai ʻUkulele Festival is a vibrant celebration of music and culture, taking place annually at the Kukui Grove Center in Līhuʻe. This free event brings together music enthusiasts from around the world to honor the ʻukulele, an iconic symbol of Hawaiian culture. The festival features live stage performances by renowned and emerging artists, including local groups like the Kapaʻa Middle School ʻUkulele Band and the Poipu ʻUkulele Club.
April 19 - Easter on the Farm
The Kauai Animal Education Farm, located just outside of Kapa'a, is a non-profit, volunteer-operated animal rescue farm that offers interactive educational experiences with over 19 species of animals. Join in on one of their biggest fundraisers of the year, featuring Easter Egg Hunts for six different age groups, live entertainment, animal interactions, games, and more.
April 19 - Easter Egg Hunt at the Beach
The largest egg hunt on Kauai can be found at Kapaa Beach Park starting at 10am on Saturday, April 19th. Thousands of eggs will be scattered around the oceanfront setting for the kids the scavenger for. The fun-filled morning will also feature live music, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and giveaways. Pack your lunch and spend a memorable day at the beach.
April 19 - Kauai Brewers Festival
The 2025 Kauai Brewers Festival will take place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in downtown Līhu'e. This vibrant event, open to all ages, will transform Kress Street into a lively block party featuring live music performances by renowned artists Mike Love and Aldrine Guerrero. Attendees can enjoy local food trucks, vendors, and yard games. A beer garden pouring 20 local brews will be the hot spot for those over 21 years of age.
May 16 & 17 - Kauai Songwriters Music Festival
Hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn at Wailua Bay, this two-day music festival will include workshops for songwriters, concerts, and an overall celebration of all things music. Close to a dozen professional musicians will take the stage to share their secrets to composing memorable songs and lyrics.
June 14 - Kauai Kings Parade and Ho’olaule’a
Celebrate King Kamehameha Day on Kauai in an unforgettable display of Hawaiian culture, pageantry, and entertainment. A parade featuring horses adorned with equestrian leis, in addition to motorized floats and walking groups will make up the parade that starts at Vidinah Stadium. At the conclusion of the parade route a ho’olaule’a, or celebration, will take place featuring local crafts, food, Hawaiian cultural demonstrations, entertainment, and more!
July 4 - Fourth of July on Kauai
Dawn your most colorful red, white, and blue swimsuit and celebrate the Fourth of July with your feet in the sand and a shave ice in hand. Head to your favorite local BBQ place for lunch and then catch sunset over the Pacific with a sparkler in your hand. In year’s past there have been official firework displays set to music hosted at Vidinha Stadium in Lihue, but no official announcement has been made yet for 2025. It is not uncommon to see smaller firecrackers set off at popular beach parks across Kauai by local families just after sunset.
