Surfing & Paddle Boarding

PK's and Kalapaki Beach

PK's surf break is just down the street from Kukui'ula, and with waves breaking consistently this is a great go-to for locals and visitors alike.

"For surfing, one of my our favorite beaches is Kalapaki Beach. Kalapaki offers a couple of different spots with a variety of speeds and heights so surfers of all levels can enjoy a day in the waves." - Hoku Ho`okano

Hiking

Awa`awapuhi Trail

"Awa`awapuhi Trail is a really nice hike that starts at elevation and descends approximately 2,000 ft in elevation from the top to the trail's end. It starts in the upper rainforest and ends up on the mountainous cliff spires that overlook Nualolo Valley on the Napali Coast." - Dan Britzmann

Snorkeling

Poipu Beach and Tunnels

Poipu Beach offers world class snorkeling just steps from Kukui'ula. A reef capped by a rocky point is home to vibrant corals, tropical fish and, if you're lucky, the endemic Hawaiian Monk Seal.

On the north shore is Tunnels Beach. When the northern swells are calm, the reef is an amazing snorkeling spot. It is called Tunnels for the wide openings in the reef that you can snorkel through while surrounded by fish, turtles, and other sealife. There are also a number of great snorkeling spots that our private boat can get to conditions permitting- Kipu Kai, Sheraton Caverns, and Cinder Pit on the south shore and Nualolo Kai and Makole on the Na Pali coastline. - Robert Miguel

KAYAK FISHING

Kukui`ula Harbor

For kayak fishing, we have been successful right out of Kukui`ula Harbor with good bottom fishing action for all levels of fishing enthusiasts. We have miles of coastline with various reefs, dropoffs, and pinnacles along the south shore that hold some great fighting and eating fish that can be brought back to our culinary team and prepared for a meal. - Kaili Olores
